久違了的照片秀！希望你們等的沒有太辛苦了！

回顧初嚐拍攝的09之夏:

我愛拍照。

不過現在出來的照片還不是最好的。

在沒有常常使用外接閃光燈的情況下，我的照片其實還好。

最高興當然是得到了專家的認同 - 羸得了第二屆PHOTOWALK的地市之選還真是我意外之外。

前幾天才收到獎品的我，還是現在才認知自己還是有天份的~ 呵呵!

我要加油了!!!!

最近學業挺煩重，不過我還是知道要寫BLOG了。

Host family 的燒烤派對十分熱鬧，除了很多家人及朋友外，最熱鬧的不過為這爐香噴噴的漢堡扒！感謝最最有煮食經驗的Gary擔任廚師大人，令每個人都有好好吃的午餐／晚餐。（參見Flickr，裡面有Emily及Spencer的照片。那時沒事做就在拍點閒照。）

後來到了Kris的"Pool Party"，至少本來是一個pool party，後來卻因為天氣不太好而取消了玩水的一部份。可是在整個派對都很好，因為那裡有Kris常笑的寶寶也有很多很可愛的小狗狗（Brisco是最喜歡的～）。

當然，萬大事都要有甜心在場才開心呀！哈哈！

很滿足的吃的一天！！！

I WON A BOOK!

If you are my loyal blog friends, you should know from previous post that I have participated in a huge event on July 18th- Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photowalk 2009.

Yea I know that's not new; the updated news is that one of the two submitting photos of mine have be chosen to compete for more prizes! I was so excited when I got the news from Matt Friday at around 11pm. I was playing World of Warcraft with my friends when Matt told me and I thought he was joking! I kept playing until he told me to read the email myself - my picture and my name are on the email that Mike Young (the leader of the Springfield Missouri walk)sent out!!! :D I am happy!

Have been out for a float trip today, I finally got time to blog about it!

I won a book by Kelby - The Digital Photography Book Vol 3 and the confidence to get improvement in taking interesting things and people!

Thank you Mike Young for emailing me and leaving me an message on my blog! Thank you so much for choosing my picture and the comments! And I steal your photo of mine to use it as my profile picture on my blog; hope you don't mind. (Click for the announcement - I am not lying :P)

Thank you Matt DeWitt for teaching me some basic techniques of taking and editing pictures. You are my C Fu and a good supporter!

And thanks friends, no matter where you are at, for reading my blog! I am sure that you will see my day-to-day(/week-to-week?.. I know I am getting really lazy.. forgive me I just get done with a class!!!) improvement!

Remember, comments are important for me to take better pictures in the future! So let me know if you have anything in your mind. Different people have different perspective, I treasure others' but I would like to keep mine too!

Andy's 是我在密蘇里挺喜歡的甜品。
作為以跟冰淇淋與別不同為噱頭的軟凍(Custard)甜品，Andy's 算是出色的了。仲夏夜經過，總會有很多人帶同小朋友一同享受去。

第一次吃Andy's 是跟韓國哥哥Kenny一起吃的。那時我是想去吃"冰淇淋"的，所以對那個只有香草味的平凡的冰淇淋沒有很大的感覺。原因是我壓根就沒當它為Custard去品嚐。自那次以後，我就一直對別人說覺得ColdStone還好一點點什麼什麼的…

第二次，感覺來了。很"普通"的Andy's甜品不知道怎地，變成了很美味的東西。味蕾動了就一而再，再而三的想回店裡買。

別問我有什麼不一樣，我講不出來。它就是很簡單的香草軟凍，口感可就是不一樣。這就是為什麼它價錢屬中上卻又多人光顧的原因了吧！

燈光，是很奇妙的東西。

有了光，我們才能看見顏色﹔
有了光，我們才能看得見真的和假的。

今天為我的小魚缸做了一個小實驗
- 用燈光製造出一個假的"魚樂無窮"。
雖然這張照片有點模糊(雜訊偏高﹔室內燈光不足所致)，但是是我第一次跟燈光玩遊戲的成果，所以值得一提啦！
有機會的話，可能會在將來的日子裡送上比較好的版本。

註：
靈感偶然來自兩星期之前的一個小發現。
放在餐桌的閱讀燈從魚缸另一邊進入把小魚的動態都映出在牆壁上。
覺得很漂亮，就把它拍下來了。

Flying Free...

Took this picture outside my apartment again...
I know, LAME, but I think I managed get at least 1 picture each time! :P
(Please let me know though if you think my picture of the day is not good, I need comments to have improvements!)

The flying object is actually a raven. A group of its kind was seeking for food outside a bar near my apartment.

I wished I could fly like them, but then I would be annoying....
I still wished though as I always want to go home...
To meet some old friends, to spend time with my families and simply just to go home.

第五天的我很忙碌，整天都在忙著寫作業。
沒時間出外拍照的情況下，我就隨便把塵封的結他拿出來左拍拍右拍拍，就成了第五天的照片。

結他，從小我就很想學會玩，可是一直都沒有機會。
跟結他結緣，是小學的時候。
羅姓老師的名字我忘了，
可是我卻沒有忘記過他的笑容及他彈結他的樣子。
那時候，大概就是第一次跟結他有最近距離的接觸。

中學。
那時候好像很多人都突然喜歡學結他，彈結他。
我是很想學的，可是為什麼沒有去實行，我就記不起來了。
那時，班中一名譚姓同學彈得一手好結他，
所以提起結他，我又記得他。

大學了。
在美國生活，發現很多人都會彈結他。
要學不難，要懂得玩也不難。
要成為結他英雄，只要到沃爾馬買個主機，買個電玩結他，多多練習，
就可以得到很高的評價。
我也終於學會了玩結他了。 :p

Alrighty... The forth day was fun! I went to Scott Kelby’s Second Annual Worldwide PhotoWalk 2009 with Matt. It was supposed to be one of those big things for photographers at any levels.

I was glad that I was there as I like taking pictures a lot. Did I learn anything? I guess not... :P But this is a very great experience and you know, you might not have another chance to shoot with about 50 people.

This is one of the shoot i took during the walk. I still have to work on other pictures in order to win the grand prize (yea, i am daydreaming :P). I will keep you guys updated if I picked two to enter the competition!

Regret that you did not participate, you can check the web site here and see if you can actually participate in this big event since it is a WORLDWIDE EVENT. Heard that it might go into the Guinness Book of World Records!! So excited!!!

Mike Young, the leader of the walk in Springfield have uploaded some pictures on his blog and I am in some of the pictures! You can click here to check those photos of beautiful Josi... haha!

我遇到了鄰居小花貓及小兔子。

家門外，小花貓告訴我，他喜歡下雨天。水在他身上滴啊滴，同時也在埋怨他親愛的不跟他一起在外面玩水，然後嘀嘀咕咕的走開了。

另一方面在Harlow's濕漉漉的草地上，小兔子在左看右看。問了問，才知道她在雨天的時候為了玩水而跟媽媽失散了。世途險惡，小兔子警覺有其他人要來了，他警閃到木柵裡，祈望著兔媽媽快快到來營救她…

這是在家門外，小小的派對場面，這不是在下雨天的時候可以看到的喔！（因為下雨天…不好！）

早上打工，下午上課，本來就是很平常的一天。
下午開始一直想著要拿什麼做今天的主題… 拿著照相機拍了花，拍了草，拍了學校的建築物。有的是很好的照片，不過感覺就非太強烈。

下課到家上網，給外面打雷的聲音嚇到。把門打開，才發現10分鐘的晴朗天氣換成了煙雨濛濛。

5點左右，雨停了，我就拿著相機到外面逛了5-10分鐘。

這短短的時間是我個人的小小的奇遇。

有了「專業的」照相機，想做的事就老是想拍照…被Ｍａｔｔ說了說就很隨便的說好，也就是為什麼你們看到現在的小方案－就是每天都拍一張照片；　當為人生做個紀錄吧！

言歸正傳。
今天星期三，是暑期時間表的休假。休假，本就是休息的一天。可是這應該慵懶的一天卻要去訪問Ｏ’Ｒｅｉｌｌｙ　Ａｕｔｏ　Ｐａｒｔｓ的一個主任，為的就是為了完成ＭＧＴ６６４的作業。

中午時份，在家準備問題的時候。郵差叔叔送來了從香港寄來的小包裹。裡面有著姐姐們對我的愛~<3！收到的是２件衣服還有糖果及ｗａｌｌ-e擺設。感覺很好~

5點完成了訪問，跟Matt到了San Francisco Oven吃午餐/晚餐。結果就是這張有著很好吃的California Aloha的照片！裡面還有著我最喜歡的新鮮的菠蘿呢～第一張365的照片，不簡單吧！

Today was supposed to be a good day.

I woke up at 6.50am, took a shower and then went directly to work at 8am.

As i live close to campus, i walk everyday to school. I did not see it was going to happen to me. Not in the morning at least.

7.48am. I walked from home to school. I tried a new path and when i walked close to Textbucks. A man who walked in front of me stopped as he noticed i was behind and was walking towards him. I walked and walked until i was closed enough to hear him (I didnt know he was talking)... "I'll kill you as your people killed my people, c--------r. Your people in your countrt killed my people and you are here to __________(bad things)...... "
Will he shoot me? Is he the crazy guy that school had warned us about like 1.5 month ago.
I was so scared "officially" in my heart but i handled it clamly and walked faster and faster just trying to walk back to the main road. Meanwhile, he kept saying those kind of things, some of them are repeated, and so i know he is just... CRAZY. He followed me a little bit after i passed him...... Finally, I managed to walk to the main road and got out of the path. As i keep walking fast and after i crossed the road and turned around to see if he is there, he is gone.

WHAT A WONDERFUL SUNNY MORNING.

I am thankful now though, cuz i am still breathing...!
